Aveda Texture Tonic to Define and Enhance Texture for Hair That Looks Effortlessly Undone - Makeup and Beauty Blog

I cannot stop smelling my hair today! It smells exactly like that yummy tea they serve at Aveda stores.
You know the ane. Information technology's herbal, a little sweet, a little chip like fresh crushed sage sprinkled on height of a bucket of ginger candy and cinnamon. It smells fresh and delicious, and it'south all upward in my strands right at present because I but sprayed the new Aveda Texture Tonic ($25) into my mane. The scent is super strong.
Texture Tonic is a new texturizing and styling spray in Aveda's pilus styling line, and different almost salt-only beach wave hairsprays, like Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray, it's a sugar AND table salt spray.
I'g not exactly sure what the sugar brings to the tabular array, simply it's bringing something. I'll say that much.
One thing I love near this spray is that it doesn't brand my hair feel difficult or crunchy, and yous know I don't exercise crunch.

Information technology does add together grit and texture, and information technology capably coaxes out waves, just information technology isn't nearly as gritty as Bumble'south Surf Spray. It'south, like, mid-level grit, so y'all don't feel that salt spray stiffness or stickiness, and your mane remains touchable (although non as soft every bit information technology is when I utilize R+Co Sail, which is the honey of my life right at present).
Aveda Texture Tonic is similar to…
- Bumble and Bumble Surf Infusion Oil and Salt-Infused Spray
- R+Co Sail Soft Wave Spray
- Bumble and Bumble Surf Cream Spray Blow Dry
- AG Hair Cosmetics Texture Spray
This works best if you don't apply too much of the product. My hair is past my shoulders, and I only use 6-7 sprays at the about. Any more that, and your pilus will probably start to experience crunchy-munchy.
I also like that my hair doesn't become frizzy later I spray it with this (you can use it on either damp or dry pilus). The spray smooths my strands, makes them shine, and it gathers up the pieces of hair into beauty bundles, for lack of a better phrase correct meow, to make your mane wait cleaved upwardly and kind of chunky, like it looks when y'all spend the solar day at the beach.
A iv.2-ounce bottle is $25, and you can get information technology now at Aveda stores and salons. It's in their permanent.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
